After establishing its purpose, “Change work, Advance Society, Connect to Tomorrow,” in 2022, Panasonic Connect needed a way to turn vision into action. I&CO created Gemba Roundtable, a discussion-based program that brought together diverse employees to explore the future of work from within.

To move beyond one-off communication efforts, Panasonic Connect needed a lasting approach to engage employees and turn internal dialogue into meaningful, long-term action across the company.

From purpose statement to shared ownership
From purpose statement to shared ownership
I&CO designed and launched a discussion-based program that brought together frontline employees and executives to reflect on the company's purpose and reimagine the future of work.
Using national population forecasts and internal data, I&CO devised a backcasting framework anchored to the question: In 2040, will our workplace support diverse families and ways of working? We structured the program to include cross-functional teams and outside experts, ensuring every session captured diverse perspectives. Insights generated through the dialogue were submitted to internal HR policy meetings for future implementation.
In addition, we created a self-guided toolkit with facilitation guides and presentation templates, allowing teams from other companies to run their own Gemba Roundtable sessions. The program’s visual identity is designed to represent the ripple effect of conversations spreading through companies and beyond.
