With a new strategic investment subsidiary, Toyota marked the next step toward becoming a mobility company. I&CO developed the company’s brand identity, highlighting camaraderie, unity, and a clear commitment to working alongside partners to propel meaningful progress for the future.

Toyota set out to go beyond funding by opening its technology, talent, and distribution channels to partners for sustained, mutual growth. To achieve this, the new company needed a name and corporate identity that united Toyota employees, stakeholders, and future partners around a shared vision.

Defining TIP’s course with name, identity, and statement
Defining TIP’s course with name, identity, and statement
I&CO defined the company’s core identity by naming it Toyota Invention Partners (TIP) and creating a visual identity and stakeholder statement for audiences worldwide.
In naming the company, “Invention” was chosen to reflect Toyota’s founding spirit, while “Partners” underscored the company’s vision of collaborative innovation.
We designed the logo to symbolize partners moving together toward a shared vision, and selected TIP Blue as the corporate color to evoke feelings of trust and harmony.
