As a voluntary group of Japanese companies committed to supporting global health, the Business Leaders’ Coalition for Global Health brought together leaders from startups to large enterprises. I&CO partnered with this coalition to unite and inspire its members with a visual motif that reflected their shared values and aspirations.

With members spanning pharmaceuticals, medical devices, finance, and trading, the coalition needed a unifying visual icon to represent the collective ambition of all participants.

Designing a shared symbol for global health
Designing a shared symbol for global health
I&CO created a visual representation of the coalition’s shared mission and ongoing commitment to advancing global health.
We designed a globe made of dots to symbolize connection and inclusivity, paired with a warm yellow tone not found in any participating company’s logo. This color choice conveyed the group’s intent to shed light on all parts of the world, including the Global South, while signaling a desire to welcome new collaborators.
Used in various events and communications, the globe motif served as a unifying symbol for the organization’s collective efforts.
