In a competitive disinfectant market, Meiri needed a clear perspective and design strategy that set it apart from being merely a 160-year-old alcohol producer.

Designing hygiene that belongs anywhere

Designing hygiene that belongs anywhere

I&CO conceived and designed MEIRI, a new disinfectant brand launched in response to the urgent public need for sanitizers in the post-COVID spring of 2020.

The first product, MEIRI no Jokin (Meiri’s Sanitizer), was followed by MEIRI no Shodoku (Meiri’s Disinfectant), a high-quality quasi-drug made possible by Meiri’s deep expertise in handling raw alcohol. Despite its quality, MEIRI no Shodoku was offered at an accessible price, reflecting Meiri’s founding mission to enrich lives and support society through alcohol-based products.

We designed the packaging to reflect Meiri’s belief in enhancing everyday life. From shopping malls to living spaces, the products feel natural in any setting, providing comfort and reassurance during life’s simplest moments.
