Partnering with FIRST CVC, Japan’s largest corporate venture capital community, I&CO supported the growth of a more connected startup investment ecosystem across Japan and Asia. We also provided strategic brand guidance to help FIRST CVC strengthen its market presence and scale its regional influence.

By combining FIRST CVC’s strong network of Japanese corporate investors with I&CO’s deep ties to Asia’s startup scene, we worked to close gaps caused by fragmented networks and uneven access to information. The partnership fostered smoother collaboration and cross-border entry between Japanese companies and Asian startups.

Connecting Japan’s largest CVC network with Asia innovators
I&CO led the creation of a strategic partnership to bridge the Japanese CVC community with startups across Asia.
As part of this initiative, one of our strategists served as an external advisor to FIRST CVC, focusing on business development, fundraising strategy, and long-term value creation. We began with the company’s naming and went on to craft its brand statement, visual identity, and corporate logo. To complete the experience, we designed key communication tools and a refreshed company website to bring the brand to life across every touchpoint.
I&CO also provided creative direction for the inaugural JAPAN CVC SUMMIT, a landmark event organized by FIRST CVC to kick off the initiative. Our strategist joined as a speaker, sharing global insights to help shape the community’s next chapter.
