I&CO is looking for a Brand Design Director to join our team on a remote contract basis for 10-13 weeks, starting January 12, 2026 (tentative). Translate strategy and insights into clear design principles and concepts
Explore and lead brand design directions
Set the creative direction for a brand system (identity, visual language, tone, core assets)
Be hands-on designing key outputs—logo/marks, typography/color systems, layouts, key visuals
Create high-quality presentations that sell the work internally and to client stakeholders
Collaborate closely with the internal team (Creative Director, Engagement Director, Strategy Director, Design Lead, Copywriter)

At least 10+ years of experience in brand design / visual identity (agency, consultancy, or in-house brand studio)
Strong portfolio showing hands-on craft and systems thinking (not just direction)
Experience leading identity and brand system builds from concept to guidelines for digital-first/only brands
High taste level and attention to detail across typography, layout, and composition
Portfolio with proven track records
Comfortable working independently and remotely in a fast-paced environment
Responsive, responsible, and professional
